-Provided with multiple lectures, examples, study guides, guided practice and student resources, the students will be able to demonstrate an understanding of cosmetology safety and school procedures by completing a written and performance assessment that requires a grade of 75% or above. The purpose of this lesson is to demonstrate safety procedures and guidelines for a successful year at our technical school.

-Given lectures, examples, study guides and guided practice, students will be able to demonstrate an understanding of preparation techniques and braiding/extension basics by completing a written and performance assessment that requires a 75% or above. The purpose of this lesson is to prepare students for popular services to clients with different hair textures using their creative abilities and provide service to all different hair types.

-Given multiple lectures, examples, study guides, guided practice and student resources, the students will be able to demonstrate an understanding of infection control theories and procedures by completing a written and performance assessment that requires a grade of 75% or higher. The purpose of this lesson is in order to be knowledgeable , successful and professional in the field of cosmetology , you are required to understand the types of illness causing pathogens you may encounter in the salon. This is not only critical for our safety but also the safety of our clients.

Given lectures, examples, study guides and guided practice, the students will be able to demonstrate proper draping, scalp care, shampooing and conditioning theories and procedures by completing a written and performance assessment that requires a 75% or higher. The purpose of this lesson is to show students the first opportunity to reinforce your position as a cosmetology professional who attends to the specific,individual needs of our clients. Students will be able to identify, examine and address scalp and hair conditions and be able to refer to a physician if needed.

Given lectures, examples, study guides, and guided practice, the students will be able to demonstrate various styling techniques and using various tools in order to create style by completing a written and performance assessment that requires a 75% or higher grade.The purpose of this lesson is to show Hairstyling as an important foundational skill that allows the cosmetology professional to articulate creativity and deliver a desired outcome based on clients specific needs.
