Student Goal:
Goal of this lesson is to review the basics of haircutting with students and continue on to more complex cutting. Students will be reviewing reference points of the head, define lines, sections, elevations and guidelines. Reviewing haircutting is crucial as it allows stylists the opportunity to offer clients options to change the shape of their hair and explore the fashionable world of hairstyling. Knowing how to perform these services accurately, safely, and professionally will help build a trusting and loyal clientele. Haircutting is a fundamental skill stylists will build on for their entire careers and can expect clients to return every 6-8 weeks.

Student Objective:
Provided with a lecture, guided practices, multiple projects, and various technique examples, students will complete
multiple hair cutting techniques and theory work according to industry standard

3405- Perform 45 degree haircut with scissors and razor - inverted bob hair cut
3402- Perform 90 degree haircut with scissors and razor
Perform Combination of 45 and 90 degree cuts with overdirection:
